Conference & Events Glam Camping Venue
A secret, secluded conference venue awaits you on the clifftops of Karioitahi beach. Nestled comfortably between rolling hills, you’ll find the Cliffside Conference, Retreats & Events Venue beside Castaways Resort.
With extreme comfort, humble magnificence and breathtaking features; here at our glam camping venue, you can experience your next celebration, conference, corporate event, team-building, retreat or bespoke wedding.

The Venue
- 12 tents with 24 bedrooms each with split king beds and ensuite bathrooms.
- Capacity of 24 (own room) or 48 (twin share)
- Large conference room marquee
- Large lounge/dining marquee
- Outdoor kitchen with pizza oven, three plate BBQ, spit roast and gas elements
- Outdoor bar area - staffed and licensed.
- Outdoor stone fire pit area (gas ignition).
- Piano, guitars, giant jenga, soccer table.
- All biodegradable plates/utensils/glasses.
- Designed for all weather and all year-round use.
Accommodation from $181 per person, plus food and venue hire package.

Neighbouring Castaways Resort offers….
Castaways Resort also have other stylish onsite accommodation and can sleep up to 80 guests in our studios or two bedroom chalets. We also offer Adventures at Castaways and team building activities, a tranquil on-site day spa and conferencing rooms.
Cliff Top Venue
Ideal for large groups of up to 120, with a variety of set up options. The Cliff Top Venue boasts panoramic ocean views and features a cliff top lawn area. The separate glass enclosed deck is ideal for private dining, as a break out area, or fabulous as a dancing space in the evening.
Tasman Venue
Located at the highest point of the resort. The Tasman Room offers a sense of seclusion and is suitable for groups of up to 40.
