WHAT TIME IS CHECK IN/CHECK OUT?
Cliffside has a self-check in processes. All the information you will need for self check-in will be sent to you in a pre-arrival email 5 days prior to your stay.
- Check in is after 3pm on the day of arrival and before dark*
- Check out is before 10am on the day of departure.
*Please note: You must check-in before dark. This means arriving by 5pm in the winter and shoulder months, and by 6.30pm in the summer months. The golf carts you'll be given to transport you to the tent site can't be driven in the dark due to safety reasons. For safety reasons you will be unable to access your Glam Camp site if you arrive after this time.
ACCESS & PARKING
Follow your map attached to your pre-arrival email to find Cliffside car park/self check-in area. This is where your car will stay and you will pick up your golf cart for your glamping adventure to begin :)
BED & LINEN
The tents sleep a maximum of two, in a luxurious king-sized bed with hotel quality linen, bedding and towels all provided.
FACILITIES
Cliffside glam camps are off-the-grid, and all power is supplied via solar panels and gas.
- The tent ensuites have a pleasant to use odourless composting toilet, sink, and a hot shower.
- Cooking with your meals are done on a gas BBQ.
- Food is stored in the solar powered fridge and will be fully stocked when you arrive. *Providing you have purchased the full food and beverage package.
- The glam camps are heated so it's warm and cosy all year round and equipt with cosy blankets.
- Lighting works in the tents just like at home - flick the switch!
- Mobile phone reception is 100m up the hill behind the glam camps for the Coastal glam camps or at our main car park. There is no WIFI at the glam camping couples tents.
WHAT TO BRING
- Warm clothes to sit outside and enjoy the view.
- If you have not purchased the full food and beverage package you will need to bring all food required for the duration of your stay. Please bring items only that can be cooked on a BBQ. Dinner cannot be purchase offsite as there is strictly no driving buggies after dark.
ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED
Children are not permitted on site due to the lay of our rugged land and health and safety.
PAYMENTS
Payment for booking must be made in full at the time of booking.
All reservations paid for by credit card will attract a 2.5% surcharge. American Express Credit Cards attract a 4% surcharge.
CAN I BRING PETS?
Sorry, strictly no pets allowed.
CANCELLATION POLICY
- Cancellation or Date Change outside of 7 days of your reservation date will result in a 50% refund.
- Cancellation or Date Change within 7 days of your reservation date will result in 100% of the total cost of your stay being charged. (no refund provided)
- We are based on the West Coast and for us, just like the sunny blue bird days, wild winds & rain are also normal – please be assured that due to our location, our tents are specifically designed and built to withstand winds of up to 160km per hour – all tents are insulated and operate on solar power and gas.
If the weather is wet/windy/raining, we would recommend packing a warm rain proof jacket for your ride in the buggy to your tent (although they have covers to keep you dry) an extra warm layer would be advisable.
In extreme weather conditions beyond the capability of our tent structure and the safety of our guests, we will contact you 24 hours prior to your stay to arrange another date.

WHAT TIME IS CHECK IN/CHECK OUT?
Totara Tree Tent is located 15minutes inland from Cliffside. You can self check-in using the information provided in your pre-arrival email that will be sent 5 days prior to your stay.
- Check in is after 3pm on the day of arrival and before dark*
- Check out is before 10am on the day of departure.
*Please note: You must self check-in before dark. Once dark it can be extremely hard to find your tent. Please arrive well before dark.
ACCESS & PARKING
Please following the driving and parking direction on your pre-arrival email that will be sent 5 days prior to your stay.
Park inside the fenced off concrete pad - this is a working farm and the cows may decide to bless you with their presence if your lucky enough :)
